When our friends at Kamstrup decided to roadtrip through Alabama and Tennessee to capture success stories on video as part of the Insights case study collection, we got the call to provide photography support along the way. Photo libraries like these are great for use in case studies, but also work well on social, in presentations and a variety of print materials because of their long shelf-life. Not to mention, it was great fun to not just hear, but see and capture stories of how Kamstrup products keep the water flowing in communities large and small.
Like video projects, different topics call for different capture techniques. While we love a well-lit studio set-up, being out in the field is fun too. When you’ve got a backhoe uncovering a water leak, the work crew is not going to wait for you to add an additional light, so you better be ready and get the shot. Because we have a deep bench of photographers, we are able to choose the person who will feel confident and capture an image library that tells the visual story of what happened.
